Admissions Procedure

Please complete each of the following documents for each student applying:

• Application
• Emergency Medical Information Sheet
• Signed Parent Contract
• Signed Contract for Middle School and High School students
• References (2) for grade 9-12

In addition, please have the following information prepared so that we may keep it in the student's file:

• Copy of student's Passport
• Copy of student's immunization record
• Records and transcripts from previous schools

This information can be sent to us at our Post Office box or delivered directly to the KCA Office during regular school hours.

Additional information:

• The Admissions Committee may request a personal interview with the parents and/or students.
• All students who are entering from non-accredited schools or homeschool programs will be tested, or students for whom transcripts are not supplied at the time of entrance.
• Grade placement testing and Russian/Ukrainian language testing may be required.
• Final decision is made by the Admissions Committee.
• The Admissions Committee and/or Headmaster will notify the family of student's acceptance.
• Physical presence is required at predetermined date. (A place will be guaranteed for 2 weeks following the agreed upon date of admission, unless an approval of a renegotiated date is on file with the Committee.)
• Seniors admitted to KCA will not be guaranteed graduation unless they have completed all graduation requirements.
• No final admission decision will be made during the summer.
• All students must have at least one parent living in Kiev.
